hi, just purchased a new R4 III DS card downloaded the system files (kernel) but it just hangs and the little top screen it says loading... and doesnt get to the GUI tried different kernel versions and different languages as well the ds lite was purchased in germany 1.15 , 1.25 etc but nothing seems to work before i used the M3 real and had no probs any ideas?? thanks sirspencer

Maybe you can try to use another R4 card, and see how it works.

Please try to stick the TF card again, and check if the connecting finger of the TF card is stained or damaged. Or you can see some related information here: r4ds.us/tutorials-mainmenu-38/r4-manual.html

hi thanks for the help i found the answer finally i had to find the system files specific to my card which is the R4 III upgrade DS and not the standard R4DS as for the card it works great but i think the GUI from the M3 Real is better, which also uses the logo from the games in its games list, which is easier for the children to relate to thanks

hi im having same prob with r4 version 3 how do i sort it tried all kernels need an idiots guide as dont usually bother with the ds things OH usually does it but he's out and its driving me mad lol HELP!!!
