5.Extra smaller connector on the LCD

The new LCD you received may have different power board layout or have some extra connector except the connectors you need to connect the LCD to the laptop. The extra connector usually used in the touch screen laptops to connect with digitizer or as a data port to update the LCD internal BIOS, if your laptop doesn't have the digitizer leave it not connected.
However, if you new screen has the extra connector it doesn't mean it will not work with your laptop.
