DS homebrew - Ukke DS

Developer Unkwar brings us his port of Ukke, which he calls a realization for the PSP Realtech tem-Vr. Another obvious benefit of the game is that despite having a French developer, it comes in English, the UI at the very least, so you won't have to squint and guess root words trying to make sense of it all.

DS Homebrew: MoonShell Version2.00 beta.8.1

After last week's update, Infantile Paralysiser has released a new version for MoonShell. The homebrew media player (and then some) for the DS is now on Version2.00 beta.8.1.

DS homebrew dev Gaz wants to help musicians improve their ability to recognize pitch and read music, so he made Jazzier Suite. It's still a work in progress, but the latest release so far already has a metronome and a notation trainer.

Developer arrpirate was recently diagnosed with diabetes so he made this app to help look after himself. Since equipment for diabetes patients can be quite pricey, this app might be a less expensive alternative, as far as the Nintendo DS can cover, at the very least.

Boive Productions has just updated Brix DS to v2.0, which comes with 24 new levels, new gameplay concepts, and cool new sounds to make the bombing and the swearing more enjoyable.

EZ5 1.90 open beta 10 and resetsp.bin update

The EZTeam have released open beta 10 of the EZ5 1.90 kernel line, all carts in the EZ5 range should be able to use this although it is worth mentioning the EZ5i/EZVi will still need 1.90 open beta 6 or higher. It features several game fixes and a new so called mode2 soft reset.

JDB has again released a new update for Ands, increasing the functionality of the homebrew PDF viewer for the Nintendo DS even further with a whole load of new features and bugfixes. This release adds quite a number of new features, including a new viewing mode, a new mini-help screen and a file filter for the app's file browser. Here's the complete changelog:

Natura No Story is a DS homebrew game from Morukutsu, and is a platformer with original graphics and a dynamic gameplay. For this version, you can play the first eight levels of the game, though that won't necessarily be it for this release.

Info on the go gets better as developer OlliPolli releases v0.3 alpha1 of DSWiki, the offline wiki reader. He's proud to say that this release is incomparable to the previous one, so let's see what he's done with it.

DS homebrew just got a little more futuristic. As his entry for the NeoFlash Spring Coding Compo, homebrew dev n00bey (aka leinad) has come up with an Armagetron clone, a 3D multiplayer racing game based on the light cycle races in Tron.
